Agricultural Crop Specialist Job Description

Kobe Microgreens and Greenhouses Ltd. is seeking an experienced Agricultural Crop Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct agricultural crops clipping activities to ensure optimal growth and quality.
  • Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable and non-marketable lots, adhering to quality control standards.
  • Organize and oversee greenhouse and nursery operations, ensuring efficient use of resources and personnel.
  • Supervise staff in shoots positioning, seed cutting, and other critical tasks.
  • Determine the type and quantity of stock to grow, based on market demand and production capacity.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing plans to promote our products.
  • Establish and maintain a controlled environment that meets the needs of our crops.
  • Develop and implement work schedules that ensure efficient use of staff and resources.
  • Order materials and stock as needed, ensuring timely delivery and quality control.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, including product care and information.
  • Supervise staff in planting, transplanting, feeding, and spraying activities.
Supervision:

5-10 people

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. English is the primary language of communication in the workplace.
