Your Role
We are seeking a Project Support Officer to assist experienced project managers and contribute to various initiatives across Northern Ontario. This position is ideal for individuals located in the region.
In this capacity, you will enhance your project management expertise by engaging in a diverse array of projects, including commercial developments, community organizations, educational institutions, and water management systems.
Embrace a proactive approach to your responsibilities while fostering strong relationships with colleagues and project stakeholders, all while advancing your professional growth.

Responsibilities
- Act as a communication bridge between the Project Manager, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Assist Project Managers by managing schedule updates, maintaining project controls, generating progress reports, and preparing tender and contract documentation.
- Ensure project activities align with Colliers Project Leaders' Quality Management System.
- Participate in project meetings, documenting action items and key decisions for team dissemination.
- Provide support to other Project Managers or Project Support Officers as needed.
Qualifications
- A university degree or diploma in engineering, architecture, construction management, project management, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in supporting project delivery in sectors such as construction, engineering, or architecture.
- Relevant experience may include internships, co-op programs, or summer employment.
- A general understanding of contemporary construction practices.
- Certifications such as CAPM, LEED, or other relevant industry credentials are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong initiative and a desire to learn and contribute.
- Proficient in MS Project, MS Word, and MS Excel.
