Job Title: Colony Educational Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Colony Educational Assistant to join our team at Horizon School Division. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a critical role in providing educational support to students in our Armada Colony School.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide educational support to students on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
  • Support English as an Additional Language Learners in language acquisition (early literacy and numeracy skills)
  • Work collaboratively with teachers to develop and implement instructional plans
  • Assist with classroom management and organization
  • Support students with special needs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with children or in an educational setting
