About the Role
Bethany Care Society is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Educator to support dementia education at our Calgary site. As a key member of our clinical education team, you will be responsible for providing orientation to new employees and developing and delivering clinical education to our staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver clinical education programs to support dementia care
- Provide orientation to new employees
- Collaborate with site leaders to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities
- Support organizational initiatives, such as research and program development
- Work closely with other clinical educators and quality consultants to achieve quality improvement goals
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA)
- Post-graduate training in Adult Education or related field, plus three to five years of direct experience as an educator in a clinical environment
- Experience working with geriatric populations, particularly those with dementia
- Proficiency in electronic documentation software, such as Point Click Care
- CPR trainer certification and Supportive Pathways training preferred
- Proficient in current productivity software, such as Microsoft Office and PowerPoint
Position Information:

- Full-Time Temporary position
- Days shift
- 7.75 hours per shift
- 10 shifts in a 2-week cycle
