We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Food Store Clerk to join our team at Federated Co-operatives Limited. As a key member of our grocery team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the overall success of our food store.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking merchandise, performing housekeeping duties, and adhering to Saskatoon Co-op Policies and Procedures.
- Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with receiving duties, including unloading and stocking merchandise.
- Perform opening and closing procedures, including setting up and securing the store.
- Support loss prevention efforts, including monitoring store inventory and reporting any discrepancies.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a retail or grocery environment an asset.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for long periods.
