Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Shift Manager to join our team at Burger King. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet the needs of our customers.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that our restaurant is running smoothly and efficiently.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure that our inventory is managed effectively.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and ensure that our food is presented in a visually appealing manner.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that our staff are working efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
  • Work Setting
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer service and food quality.
  • Physical Capabilities
    • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
    • Standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability
    • Efficient interpersonal skills.
    • Excellent oral communication skills.
    • Flexibility and ability to work in a team environment.
