Food Service Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Operations Manager to join our team at Ontario Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Management: Supervise and train a team of food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
- Operations Planning: Plan and organize daily food service operations, including menu planning, inventory management, and supply chain logistics.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in food service management.
- Work Setting: Willing to relocate.
- Work under Pressure: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Standing for Extended Periods: Ability to stand for extended periods and move around the kitchen and dining areas.
- Client Focus: Strong customer service skills and ability to provide excellent service to clients.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with a team to achieve common goals.
- Foreign Credential Recognition: Support for newcomers and/or refugees with foreign credential recognition.
- On-the-Job Training: Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth.
- Mentorship and Coaching: Offers mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers.
- Hiring Policies: Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities.
