About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Lil Ava's Pizza. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces to maintain a high level of hygiene and safety standards.
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and ensure they are properly stored.
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, such as pizzas and salads, to meet customer demands.
  • Take customer orders and serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Restock condiments, supplies, and ingredients as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing the dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors.
  • Assist with taking out trash and recycling, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Will train on the job.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
