At KAG Canada, we're seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. As a key member of our terminal operations, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of salt trucks and other tasks.

About the Position:

  • Loading and unloading salt trucks with precision and efficiency
  • Weighing in and out salt trucks to ensure accurate inventory management
  • Entering salt orders into our system with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Removing snow from the yard using a front end loader and shovel, maintaining a safe and accessible work environment
  • Performing yard maintenance tasks to keep our facilities in top condition
  • Assisting with various other yard duties as needed

What You Bring:

  • A valid Class 1 license and a strong understanding of safe driving practices
  • Excellent computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with the physical ability to perform manual labor
  • Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn new equipment
  • A safety-conscious approach to all job duties, with a focus on protecting yourself and others
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a strong sense of accountability
  • Reliable transportation to work, as we do not offer bus service
