Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Wrinch Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide patient care to an assigned group of patients using the Nursing Process and Nursing Knowledge.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with health team members to ensure seamless patient care.
- Adhere to the Nursing Code of Ethics and maintain competency in nursing practices.
- Guide and support team members in a Charge Nurse role.
Days, Nights, 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 (Rotating)
About Wrinch Memorial Hospital:Wrinch Memorial Hospital is a teaching hospital that serves a population of 8,000. Our hospital offers a range of services, including complex care beds, respite care, acute care beds, pharmacy, dental clinic, laboratory, doctor's outpatient clinic, and medical imaging.
Other Health and Community Care Services:We offer a range of health and community care services, including public health, First Nation's Health Authority, mental health and addictions, Skeena Place Assisted Living Complex, home and community care support services, diabetic education, dietitian services, visiting specialists, and pre and post-natal outreach programs.

Qualifications:- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant.
- A minimum of one year experience of the Staff Nurse level in an Acute Care Hospital is preferred.
- Experience in the Operating Room is preferred.
- Ability to provide guidance and motivation for staff.
- Ability to teach nursing techniques.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to organize assigned workload and set priorities.
- Ability to deal effectively with a variety of internal and external contacts.
- Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
