Position Overview

As a Construction Support Specialist at IK Construction Inc., you will play a vital role in assisting various construction activities. Your responsibilities will include a range of tasks that ensure smooth operations on-site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials efficiently.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades as needed.
  • Material Mixing: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assistance in Construction: Aid in aligning pipes during pipeline construction and assist in drilling and blasting operations.
  • Heavy Equipment Operation: Operate offshore oil rig cranes to manage supply vessel operations.
  • Demolition Support: Assist in the safe demolition of buildings and removal of rubble and debris.
  • Environmental Safety: Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain site safety.
  • Traffic Direction: Direct traffic at or near construction sites to ensure safety and compliance.
Qualifications
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
  • Employment Duration: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
