About the Role

Mega Pest Control Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our operations team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the operations team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and preparing correspondence.
  • Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including employee files, customer information, and company documents.
  • Office Operations: Coordinate and plan for office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Financial Management: Assist in the preparation of operating budgets and maintain inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Reporting and Data Analysis: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Office Procedures: Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, including delegation of work to office support staff, establishing work priorities, and ensuring procedures are followed and deadlines are met.

  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Youths: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
  • Support for Veterans: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Veterans.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
  • Support for Visible Minorities: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
