Team Overview
The Technology Audits team plays a crucial role in overseeing Stripe's Technology and Compliance Audits. Our dedicated group of technical program managers is focused on ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
Role Responsibilities
As a key member of our team, you will:
- Support various Technology and Compliance assessments, including SOC 1, SOC 2, PCI, and other regulatory audits.
- Develop a centralized strategy for managing audits across the organization.
- Design and implement processes and controls that meet the requirements of multiple compliance frameworks.
- Engage in in-depth technical discussions with engineering teams to understand existing controls and processes, and devise innovative solutions to meet regulatory expectations.
Key Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in the security regulatory and compliance sector, with at least 2 years focused on leading Technology and Compliance assessments.
- A strong technical background in security and a solid understanding of the digital economy.
- Expertise in identifying security risks and developing effective mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- A proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders to drive optimal outcomes.
- Creative problem-solving skills that challenge conventional industry practices while ensuring safety and compliance.
Impact and Collaboration
In this role, you will:
- Conduct and lead external audits, collaborating closely with Product and Engineering teams to maintain compliance with security standards.
- Streamline audit processes and enhance the efficiency of compliance management.
- Work with control owners to automate evidence collection and implement real-time monitoring of compliance status.
- Integrate new products and services into existing compliance frameworks, ensuring thorough scoping and control testing.
- Stay informed about emerging security regulations and collaborate with engineering teams to adapt seamlessly.
- Act as a force multiplier for our customers, helping to minimize compliance burdens and facilitate their growth.
