Java Tech Lead with Cloud Expertise

Job Summary:

Infinitysol is seeking a highly skilled Java Tech Lead with expertise in Cloud Computing to lead our team of developers in delivering high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and oversight to the development team, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  2. Cloud Architecture: Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based architectures using GCP and Azure platforms.
  3. Java Development: Lead the development of Java-based applications, ensuring that they meet the required standards of quality, security, and performance.
  4. DevOps and CI/CD: Implement and maintain DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.
  5. Team Management: Manage and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure their growth and development.
  6. Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, QA, and operations, to ensure that software solutions meet business requirements and are delivered on time.
  7. Problem-Solving: Analyze complex technical problems, identify root causes, and develop effective solutions to ensure that software systems are stable, secure, and performant.
  8. Communication: Communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned with project goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  1. 10+ years of experience in Java-based applications.
  2. 2+ years of experience as a Java Lead/Technical Lead.
  3. Hands-on experience with Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot applications.
  4. Strong experience in integrating cloud-based applications with legacy applications or applications on another platform.
  5. Hands-on experience with SOAP-based services, REST APIs, messaging services such as Kafka, etc.
  6. Experience applying design patterns and best engineering practices.
  7. Experience with TDD, ATDD, BDD, or any other test practice.
  8. Experience with DevOps tools: Docker, Shell script, Jenkins, CI/CD.
  9. Experience working with cloud services: GCP/Azure (3+ years of experience).
  10. 5+ years of experience working with cloud and on-prem databases.
  11. Strong knowledge of quality tools such as BlackDuck, Fortify, Aquasec, and SonarQube.
  12. Strong knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPC, subnetting, VPNs, etc.), distributed computing, multi-threaded environments, security, and optimization.
  13. Competent in enterprise application delivery and design techniques, including release and source code branching strategies.
  14. Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with an ability to break down problems into root issues and root causes.
  15. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to build and foster relationships with business partners, project stakeholders, strategic technology partners, and vendors.
  16. Maintain continuous improvement behavior and commitment to expand set of skills.
  17. Previous exposure to the banking industry/financial services is preferred.
