We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority.
About the RoleThis is a permanent full-time opportunity with a 75-hour bi-weekly schedule. The successful candidate will work in a dynamic environment, providing occupational therapy services to patients and clients.
Responsibilities- Provide occupational therapy services to patients and clients, including assessment, treatment, and education.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote independence and functional ability.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Conduct screenings and assessments to identify patients' needs and develop strategies for improvement.
- Provide education and support to patients and families to promote healthy habits and lifestyle changes.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
- Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists Membership.
- Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities.
- 2 years of experience in occupational therapy, preferably in a mental health setting.
