Job Title: Plumber and Maintenance Specialist

Kipper Mechanical Ltd. is seeking a skilled Plumber and Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining domestic, commercial, and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install and repair plumbing fixtures and systems in commercial and industrial settings
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Estimate costs and materials for plumbing projects
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shape and size
Requirements:
  • Backflow prevention Certification
  • Plumber Trade Certification
  • Working at heights training
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Natural Gas License
  • Plumber Red Seal Certificate
  • Gas Fitter Red Seal Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Working Conditions:
  • Physically demanding work environment
  • Work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Handling heavy loads and bending, crouching, kneeling
