Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Drafter to join our team at Summa Architectural & Structural Metal Inc. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for creating detailed drawings and specifications for structural steel projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and prepare design sketches and drawings for structural steel projects
  • Prepare construction specifications, costs, and material estimates
  • Prepare contracts and tenders for steel fabrication and installation
  • Estimate costs and materials for steel projects
  • Complete documentation packages and drawing sets for structural steel projects
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent experience in a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in structural steel drafting or a related field
  • Proficiency in CAD software, including Tekla and AutoCAD
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
