Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at CB Canada. As a key member of the Operations Finance Business Partner organization, you will support the Manufacturing and Construction team in North Vancouver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze weekly labor performance against production management baseline (PMB) budget to ensure accurate forecasting.
  • Assist in preparing quarterly Estimate at Completion (EAC) forecasting to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare variance reports against PMB and EAC on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop operational metrics tracking against PMB and EAC to measure performance and drive business growth.
  • Provide support to the Program Controls team during budgeting and forecasting consolidation to ensure seamless processes.
  • Assist in creating analytical reports to enhance Operations understanding in support of Earned Value Management (EVM) analyses.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses and other assigned duties to drive business success.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management or financial analysis.
  • Knowledge of project controls principles and EVMS process.
  • Professional accounting designation or MBA is an asset.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with ERP systems and BI tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
