Position Summary:

The IT Procurement and Vendor Relations Expert is essential in facilitating sourcing, contracting, and vendor oversight activities pertaining to information technology within the Data & Technology (D&T) division and throughout the organization.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Engage with D&T and other divisions to comprehend their technology requirements and formulate procurement strategies that align with corporate goals.
  • Assist in the development of Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and Requests for Information (RFIs) for IT acquisitions.
  • Evaluate vendor submissions and offer recommendations for vendor selection.
  • Conduct market analysis to support informed procurement choices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Oversee vendor expenditures and pinpoint potential cost-reduction strategies.
  • Negotiate agreements with suppliers to obtain advantageous terms.
  • Examine contract provisions to mitigate risks and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Maintain a contract management system for tracking and compliance purposes.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure contract terms meet organizational standards.
  • Assess vendor performance and address any arising issues.
  • Foster and manage multiple supplier relationships.
  • Implement vendor and client satisfaction assessments.
  • Monitor and analyze vendor performance metrics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in IT procurement, category management, and supplier relations.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in G Suite and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Ivalua third-party management platform is advantageous.
