Overview:

As a Senior Geotechnical Engineering Leader, you will be pivotal in steering our geotechnical initiatives. Your role encompasses a diverse array of projects, spanning from infrastructure enhancement to environmental restoration. Your specialized knowledge will be crucial in delivering innovative strategies and ensuring the integrity and safety of our clients' constructions.

Core Responsibilities:
  1. Direct geotechnical assessments, site evaluations, and field research.
  2. Proficient in various soil mechanics evaluations and designs, including foundation engineering, settlement analysis, slope stability evaluations, and effectively execute conventional design engineering and oversight.
  3. Conduct geotechnical evaluations and designs for an array of projects, such as foundations, slope stability, retaining structures, and earthworks.
  4. Oversee tasks from proposal development to site investigations, in situ and laboratory testing, site supervision, and reporting.
  5. Guide and mentor junior engineers and technical personnel.
  6. Draft geotechnical documentation and present technical findings to clients.
  7. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to incorporate geotechnical insights into comprehensive project designs.
  8. Perform quality control and assurance assessments of geotechnical outputs.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Geological, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  2. Professional Engineer (PE) certification in geotechnical engineering.
  3. A minimum of 10 years of experience in the geotechnical engineering field.
  4. Strong command of geotechnical analysis software (CIVIL3D, GeoStudio, LeapFrog, Rocscience, PLAXIS, GEO5, or equivalent).
  5. Exceptional project management capabilities and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  6. Proven leadership and mentoring skills.
  7. In-depth knowledge of geotechnical and geological aspects related to soil and rock characterization, logging, foundation design, geotechnical analysis, and report generation for various building types.
  8. Thorough understanding of infrastructure projects (sewer, pipeline, road, tunneling, micro-tunneling, bridges, etc.), bearing capacity and settlement analysis, slope stability assessment, design and remediation, and engineering for embankments, roads, and pavements, along with the ability to identify geohazards.
  9. Familiarity with geo-structural design, instrumentation & monitoring, and water treatment facilities.
