Job Overview
The Project Control Specialist plays a pivotal role in facilitating the coordination and administrative functions of various projects, ensuring effective financial oversight and comprehensive reporting at both project and portfolio levels.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in the accurate development and maintenance of project schedules and resource management.
- Monitor project activities, tracking progress against established plans and timelines.
- Ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, and financial budgets.
- Identify potential risks associated with projects and formulate strategies for mitigation.
- Manage and maintain essential project documentation, SharePoint sites, and online dashboards.
- Support routine processes including status reporting, invoice reconciliation, payment processing, and timesheet validation.

Collaboration and Support
- Aid the Portfolio Manager and Project Management team with various ad-hoc tasks, including meeting scheduling, governance documentation, and onboarding/offboarding activities.
- Contribute to project communications by documenting meeting minutes and tracking action items.
- Facilitate project logistics, including organizing meetings, reserving conference rooms, and coordinating conference calls.

Qualifications
- Experience in software project management environments is preferred.
- An undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business Management, or a related field is advantageous.
- Familiarity with financial forecasting and project management tools such as MIS, Planview, Tableau, Confluence, and JIRA is beneficial.
- Experience in managing work packages within projects is a plus.
- Proficient in managing project financials, resource allocations, and consolidated schedules.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies is essential.
