Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Fraser Valley area. As a Community Occupational Therapist, you'll work with a diverse range of clients, conducting functional assessments, job site visits, and developing graduated activity and return-to-work plans. Your exceptional communication and clinical skills will enable you to deliver outcomes that change lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct functional assessments and job site visits to identify client needs and develop personalized plans
  • Develop graduated activity and return-to-work plans to support client independence and productivity
  • Liaise with clients, funders, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Use your expertise to implement therapeutic strategies and promote client success
  • Develop knowledge of funder contracts and community resources to facilitate client access to appropriate health services
Requirements
  • Current membership with the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC) or eligibility for registration
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Reliable vehicle for clinical appointments
  • Experience working with agency payers is an asset
  • Commitment to continuous learning through professional development courses
