Job Title: Server Assistant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and team-oriented Server Assistant to join our team at Il Caminetto. As a Server Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining room, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our servers and bartenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist servers and bartenders with taking orders, serving food and drinks, and handling customer requests
  • Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, chairs, and floors
  • Restock supplies, such as linens, glasses, and utensils
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Work collaboratively with the restaurant team to ensure seamless service and a positive dining experience for our guests

Requirements:

  • Canadian citizenship, permanent resident status, CIS, or a valid work permit
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing situations
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly in a fast-paced environment
