Forbes Bros. Group of Companies is seeking an experienced Pipelayer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, assembly, and installation of pipelines in accordance with project specifications and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, assemble, and install pipelines as required
  • Monitor back-fill of pipe bedding to ensure proper haunch support
  • Mix, pour, and spread materials as required
  • Pave and rake asphalt as per specifications
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Previous experience in civil construction is required
  • Working knowledge of laser level and locate equipment, an asset
  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
  • Valid Safety Certifications including but not limited to: Ground Disturbance, First Aid, H2S Alive, an asset
  • Ability to work in field/site with travel and work hour flexibility to accommodate to remote/site work schedules
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions and environments, inclusive of heavy lifting
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of Pre-Access D&A testing, presenting a valid Driver's License and an acceptable drivers abstract
