Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team at S.i. Systèmes. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines using Azure data technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Synapse, and SQL Data Warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop ETL data pipelines using Azure data technologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions
  • Develop and maintain data models and data warehouses
  • Work with DevOps tools and practices to ensure efficient data processing
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to discuss development approaches
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in designing and developing ETL data pipelines with Azure data technologies
  • 4+ years of experience in data modeling and working with common data warehouse models
  • 4+ years of experience in analysis and development with SQL
  • 5+ years of experience working with DevOps tools and practices
  • 5+ years of experience working with accepted methods, standards, techniques, and best practices for development in agile/scrum practices
  • 2+ years of development experience with PeopleSoft V 9.1, PeopleTools V8, and data integration
Nice to Have
  • Experience with enterprise ETL and data integration tooling such as IBM Infosphere Information Server DataStage solution
  • Good knowledge of popular data standards and formats
  • Experience working with high volume data exchange and transaction processing systems
  • Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively
  • Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile Methodologies
  • Degree in computer science, math, engineering, or equivalent work experience
