About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our team at Sage Lake Senior Living. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable data solutions that meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop data pipelines and integrations using IPaaS technology
  • Collaborate with the engineering platform ingestion, orchestration, data warehouse/data lake, and API strategies for our data management ecosystem
  • Interface with other technology teams to design and implement robust products, services, and capabilities for the data platform
  • Identify and deliver improvements to data engineering at Enable
  • Collaborate with our DevOps team to provide high availability data solutions that scale geographically
Requirements
  • Proven experience in developing and managing data platforms within a Data Mesh architecture
  • Strong experience with production-level software development, ideally using Python with data (Pandas, PySpark)
  • Experience working with DevOps practices such as GIT/GitHub, CI/CD, deployment tools like Octopus, and infrastructure as code
  • Technical excellence in SQL, NoSQL, Blob, Delta Lake, and other enterprise-scale data stores
  • Enterprise-scale usage of technology such as DBT, Azure Data Factory, Spark, or similar tools
  • Experience of working within scrum frameworks and tools such as JIRA and Confluence
