About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Operations Manager to join our team at SkillsWave LLC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage employment-related legal matters, litigation, and other legal issues as they arise.
  • Advise the President and Executive Chairman on legal matters.
  • Act as a facilitator and trusted advisor to the business, providing practical legal advice across internal stakeholder groups.
  • Develop, draft, revise, administer, implement, and interpret the Company's compliance policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and government authorities as required.
  • Manage litigation, including eDiscovery and external litigation counsel.
  • Cross-functional project management.
Requirements
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience as a corporate lawyer.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience drafting and reviewing contract terms and conditions, including liability, indemnity, and IP considerations, government regulations, and procurement practices.
  • Transaction management experience an asset.
  • International experience an asset.
What We Offer

A competitive salary in the range of $120,000 to $150,000, based on the minimum level of work experience and qualifications.
