About the Role

RSM Canada is seeking a highly skilled Tax Senior Manager to join our Business Tax practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional tax services to our clients, including public and private multinational enterprises.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical expert in tax preparation, providing detailed review and analysis of tax returns, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • People Management: Mentor and coach junior staff members, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and advance in their careers.
  • Client Service: Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored tax solutions, including planning, research, compliance, and tax accounting.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with tax compliance and accounting, ensuring that our clients' interests are protected.
  • Business Development: Assist in the development of new business opportunities, including extended services and tax issue recognition for existing clients.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field, preferably with a CPA designation.
  • Experience: 8+ years of experience in Public Accounting, preferably in a tax-focused role, with a strong understanding of Canadian tax laws and regulations.
  • Skills: Excellent technical skills in tax preparation, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
