Position Overview

In alignment with our organization's vision, values, and strategic objectives, the Community Health Worker II plays a vital role within an interdisciplinary health care team. Under the guidance of the Team Lead or designated clinical supervisor, this position delivers essential home support services tailored to a pre-defined care plan.

Key responsibilities include assisting clients with daily living activities such as personal hygiene, meal planning, and preparation, all while fostering maximum independence. Additionally, the role involves performing delegated tasks for which appropriate training has been completed.

A fundamental aspect of this position is to ensure the well-being of individuals and families, promoting a lifestyle of independence within the community.


Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is $29.60.

Required Qualifications
  • Completion of a recognized Home Support Attendant or Resident Care Aid Program.
  • Registration with the BC Care Aid & Community Health Worker Registry.
  • Possession of a valid Class 5 BC Driver's License.
  • Current certifications in CPR, First Aid, and Food Safety.
  • Access to a personal vehicle.
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
