We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to oversee kitchen operations at 1202921 B.C. LTD. This role requires a blend of creativity and leadership to ensure exceptional food quality and service.
Qualifications- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 to 3 years in a culinary environment
- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Introduce innovative cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff.
- Supervise the activities of chefs, cooks, and kitchen personnel.
- Develop and create new recipes.
- Train cooks in food preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation.
- Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty dishes for events.
- Oversee the daily cooking operations and ensure quality standards are met.
- Plan and direct food preparation activities across multiple restaurants.
- Consult with clients regarding menu planning for events.
- Recruit, hire, and train kitchen staff.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
Responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 kitchen staff.
Work EnvironmentThis is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week. The primary language of communication in the workplace is English.
