  2. Offering mentorship, technical support, and oversight to junior engineers and technical personnel involved in project execution.
  3. Guiding a project team to successfully deliver designs for various roadway types, including urban and rural thoroughfares, interchanges, and intersections.
  4. Ensuring adherence to corporate and client quality assurance and quality control standards across all initiatives.
  5. Collaborating with clients, regulatory bodies, utility providers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  6. Cultivating and sustaining professional relationships with industry peers, consultants, and business leaders.
  7. Assisting in the development and oversight of proposals, project plans, timelines, and financial budgets.
  8. Tracking overall project progress and technical performance to ensure that deadlines and objectives are achieved.
  9. Partnering with senior leadership to implement strategic growth and business development initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Licensure: Must hold a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.
  • Experience:
    • Over 20 years of progressive experience in managing MTO design projects focused on highway infrastructure.
    • Proven expertise in project management within the consulting engineering sector.
    • Comprehensive understanding of Highway/Transportation Engineering, including relevant policies, regulations, and operational guidelines.
    • Demonstrated capability in detailed design work with established project management skills.
  • Skills:
    • Strong ability to collaborate effectively with clients and other key stakeholders.
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
    • Keen attention to detail, proficient problem-solving skills, and a creative approach to challenges.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of working independently or as part of a team.
  • Additional Requirements: Must possess a valid driver's license and have access to a vehicle that is properly registered and insured.
  • Preferred: Eligibility for approval in the MTO RAQS system for various specialties would be advantageous.
