Pharmacy Manager Job Description

As a Pharmacy Manager at Shoppers Drug Mart, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring that customers receive exceptional service and care. Your key responsibilities will include managing the dispensary, providing consultation to customers and healthcare providers, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advice to customers on prescription medications and over-the-counter products.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and provincial regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and medication dispensing.
Workflow and Inventory Management:
  • Oversee the daily workflow of the pharmacy, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure that medications are stocked and available for dispensing.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of medication orders and inventory levels.
Operations:
  • Ensure that the pharmacy is maintained in a clean and organized manner, with a focus on customer safety and satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
