Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Human Relations Specialist to contribute to the well-being of individuals facing addiction challenges. This role involves working within a dynamic team at CIUSSS du Centre-Ouest-de-l'Île-de-Montréal, where you will engage in meaningful social work that impacts lives positively.

Work Schedule:

  • 1 Full-time day replacement
  • 1 Part-time day replacement
  • Includes two days from noon to 8pm

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, update, and assess social programs in collaboration with the external services team.
  • Provide tailored evaluation, guidance, and psychological support to users and their families.
  • Deliver essential services to clients dealing with addiction issues.

Main Duties Include:

  • Gather and analyze relevant user data.
  • Conduct evaluations using appropriate methodologies and prepare necessary documentation.
  • Offer direct or indirect intervention and support to users.
  • Develop comprehensive intervention plans based on user assessments and available resources.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to colleagues.
  • Act as a resource for peers facing challenges in intervention planning.
  • Additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in human or social sciences, such as criminology, social work, or psychology, is required.

Additional Information:

For degrees obtained outside Canada, an evaluation by the Ministry of Immigration, Francization, and Integration is necessary during the application process.
