Job Title: Registered Nurse - Oncology

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Kitimat General Hospital. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide compassionate patient care and coordinate care for the community oncology program.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work under the general direction of the Director of Nursing & Head Nurse Critical Care. This position requires flexibility to work in both Kitimat and Terrace on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide and coordinate care for the community oncology program
  • Work in both Kitimat and Terrace on a weekly basis
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
Requirements:
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • Post-basic course in oncology nursing preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable to the employer
  • Chemotherapy certification from the BC Cancer Agency
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training
  • Valid Driver's Licence
