Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our nursing team at Kitimat General Hospital. As a Registered Nurse - Oncology, you will provide and coordinate care for the community oncology program, working closely with the Director of Nursing & Head Nurse Critical Care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide and coordinate care for the community oncology program
  • Work in collaboration with the Director of Nursing & Head Nurse Critical Care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
Requirements
  • Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant
  • Post-basic course in oncology nursing or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Chemotherapy certification from the BC Cancer Agency
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training
  • Valid Driver's License
