Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager with a background in civil construction and engineering to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a positive, people-oriented individual with excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate in accordance with and uphold Emil Anderson Group (EAG) Core Values.
  • Develop and implement project plans to ensure timely completion and quality delivery.
  • Anticipate project needs to avoid delays and ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with subcontractors and major suppliers to prepare contracts and ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor construction progress and update management on project status.
  • Support opportunity pursuits and estimating of bids.
  • Provide technical advice and resolve problems proactively.
  • Mentor and lead operations staff on site.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental protection practices and procedures.
  • Evaluate workmanship and maintain quality standards.
  • Identify and solve constructability issues.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Engineering or Construction Management.
  • 3+ years of Project Management experience in civil construction and engineering.
  • Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite and Bluebeam.
  • Based in the Fraser Valley region.
