About the Role

SAP is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Communications & Events Specialist to join our team as an iXp Intern. As a key member of our Communications team, you will be responsible for creating engaging content, managing events, and providing logistics support for our Managing Director's office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive communications strategy to align with our national comms strategy and teammates in Vancouver and Waterloo.
  • Create compelling and effective content across multiple channels, including graphic designs and marketing collateral.
  • Plan, promote, and execute national events, including annual marquee events such as all-hands meetings, executive visits, holiday party, and summer party.
  • Provide logistics support for the Managing Director's office, including liaising with event suppliers, receiving visitors, arranging conference calls, and coordinating meeting logistics.
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal partners, such as IT, Facilities, and Security, as well as external SAP vendors.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in both oral and written English, French language a differentiator.
  • Experience with graphic design tools, such as Canva, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Basic Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of industry trends in branding.
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or equivalent.
