Clean Harbors is seeking a highly skilled Regional Financial Operations Manager to join their team. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the region, ensuring timely and accurate financial data, and implementing financial and management information systems.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Data Management: Ensure the maintenance and reporting of financial data in a timely and accurate manner.
- Financial Systems Implementation: Implement financial and management information systems to improve financial operations.
- Collaboration with Regional Management: Work with regional vice presidents and general managers to ensure financial data is accurate and up-to-date.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Leadership and Management: Direct and prioritize the work of shared service administrators, responsible for data entry, payroll, accounts payable, and human resources.
- Financial Planning: Prepare budgets for the region and its branches.
- Financial Reporting: Present financial results to area management, including processes and procedures critical to financial operations.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements and identify potential control deficiencies.
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience in accounting and/or financial management, preferably in the oil and gas, mining, or manufacturing industry.
- Education: CPA designation required.
- Skills: Strong MS Office skills, specifically in Excel, and ability to articulate financial results and budgets to management teams.
