We are seeking a qualified Elementary French as a Second Language Teacher to join our team at Durham Catholic District School Board.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching French as a Second Language to elementary students, promoting language skills and cultural awareness.
Key Responsibilities:- Teach French as a Second Language to elementary students
- Develop and implement lesson plans to promote language skills and cultural awareness
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Communicate with parents and colleagues to ensure student success
- Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
- Primary/Junior and/or Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications
- French as a Second Language Part 1 Required
