The success of our organization is attributed to our dedication to our workforce, our strong adherence to our core values, and our cutting-edge technology.

Role Responsibilities

As the Lead Process Engineer, you will be instrumental in the development, design, commissioning, testing, and optimization of carbon capture gas processing facilities tailored for diverse industrial applications.

Your role will include supporting initial engagements and technical discussions with prospective clients in collaboration with the Business Development and Sales Teams.

You will be accountable for all project-related fundamental process engineering deliverables associated with Svante's licensing technology package for specific projects, which include:

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of years of experience in the development, design, and operational management of chemical processes.

A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering is required.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as process simulation software such as Hysys and Aspen, is essential.

You should have a robust technical foundation with knowledge of gas processing and steam generation systems.

Experience with solvent-based CO2 capture plants utilizing Selective Chemical Absorption Solvents and Thermal Kinetic Optimization processes, or relevant experience in gas separation processing or gas power plants, is highly desirable.

A strong technical background in CO2 capture technologies is necessary.

Project Leadership

You will serve as the technical lead from project inception to completion, ensuring that deliverables are met within budget, on schedule, and to the specified quality standards in Svante's carbon capture initiatives.

Your responsibilities will also include preparing the Basis of Design document, which encompasses design standards, site conditions, available utilities, emission and waste stream limitations, and overall performance criteria for the carbon capture system.

You will design greenfield gas processing facilities, oversee modifications and upgrades, and troubleshoot existing process designs.

Conducting process hazard and operability analysis (HAZOP) and evaluating the safety and environmental implications of the plant will also be part of your role.

Additionally, you will perform techno-economic analysis (TEA) and assess the capital and operational costs of projects during the pre-construction phase.
