About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fleet Procurement Coordinator to join our team at RECRUITMENT PARTNERS INC. in a Temp to Perm capacity. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of parts and supplies necessary for the maintenance and operation of our fleet.

Key Responsibilities
  • Source and procure parts required for the maintenance and repair of cranes, ensuring timely availability to minimize downtime.
  • Utilize the Top Desk system to coordinate Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications.
  • Create and maintain a preferred vendor list, fostering strong relationships with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
  • Reach out to vendors to obtain quotes for required parts and services, comparing options to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
  • Oversee and control the parts inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels to support maintenance operations without overstocking.
  • Manage vendor invoices, ensure accurate purchase order (PO) matching and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
  • Leverage Dynamics 365 to manage procurement processes, track orders, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in procurement, fleet management, logistics, or a similar role is preferred.
  • Advanced Excel and Microsoft 365 skills.
  • Strong negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in procurement software.
  • Knowledge of fleet industry trends and procurement practices.
