Web Developer Position

MacLean Engineering is seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team in Collingwood, ON for an 18-month contract.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will work as part of a team of experienced developers, designing, developing, and implementing solid, reliable, and optimized code for MacLean's websites and web presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop web applications using React and/or Angular
  • Work with Marketing and IT staff to ensure consistency and innovation in web content and design
  • Implement complex web applications quickly and with high quality
  • Develop and test for multiple browsers and platforms
  • Use Git version control and understand modern web standards and best practices

About You:
The successful candidate must be willing to learn, be open-minded and flexible, organized and detail-oriented, team-oriented, disciplined, and have a positive attitude. A diploma or degree in a related discipline is an asset, and three (3) + years' experience as a web developer is required. Experience developing applications with React JS and/or Angular JS is also necessary. Strong understanding of JavaScript, MongoDB, jQuery, and relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent) is required. To learn more about MacLean Engineering, please visit our website at.
