Web Developer Position at MacLean Engineering

MacLean Engineering is seeking a skilled and experienced Web Developer to join our team in Collingwood, ON for an 18-month contract. As a Web Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solid, reliable, and optimized code, managing websites and web presence for MacLean.

About the Position:
  • Design, develop, and implement web applications using modern web standards and best practices.
  • Work with Marketing and IT staff to ensure ongoing consistency and innovation in web content and design.
  • Develop and test web applications for multiple browsers and platforms.
  • Use Git version control and understand modern web development tools and technologies.
About You:
  • 3+ years of experience as a web developer.
  • Strong understanding of JavaScript, Node.js, MongoDB, and jQuery.
  • Fluent with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or equivalent).
  • Experienced with non-relational databases.
