Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Shop Assembler to join our team at Innofab Millwork Corp. As a Shop Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting wood products, ensuring high-quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and inspect wood products to ensure conformance to quality standards
  • Read blueprints, written specifications, and production drawings to understand product requirements
  • Pack items for shipping and distribution, and load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
  • Reinforce assembled products with dowelling or other supports, and inspect wood products for defects
  • Provide customer service, and organize and maintain inventory using computerized inventory control systems
Work Environment

The Shop Assembler will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The role requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent oral communication skills, flexibility, and reliability
