We are a group of family physicians and allied health practitioners seeking a dynamic and innovative family doctor to join our team in Courtenay, BC.
Our clinic is patient-centered, with a focus on creating real partnerships with patients and our broader community. We strive to create a positive working environment for providers and staff, with an emphasis on work-life balance.
We have recently relocated our clinic to a stunning, custom-designed space with natural light, local art, and modern equipment. Our team includes allied health members, such as an RN, social worker, mental health clinician, pharmacist, and dietitian.
We aim to leverage technology to streamline our workflows and create office efficiencies. We use the modern Telus CHR, which integrates video visits, online booking, and automated appointment reminders within the EMR system.
We are active members of our community's growing patient care network and prioritize bringing on a physician who can attach new patients and build a practice.
Remuneration options include the New to Practice contract through the Ministry of Health or the Longitudinal Family Practice model. We currently have physicians on both models.
Benefits may include additional remuneration through the Rural Subsidiary Agreement, including a retention premium, retention flat fee, and recruitment incentive.
Shift/Hours of Work: Flexible hours, currently availability includes Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday mornings and Fridays days a week of in-person clinic time. Will include some virtual and admin work from home.
