Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Accurate Forecasts: Utilize advanced statistical techniques and data analysis to create item-level forecasts that align with consumer demand, sales strategies, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with Sales, Customer Planning, and Replenishment teams to ensure optimal product availability, replenishment, and order fulfillment.
  • Drive Business Growth: Analyze sales and promotional data to generate accurate monthly flow patterns, considering seasonality, promotions, distribution points, and market trends.
  • Improve Forecast Accuracy: Identify key trends, minimize variance, and ensure a balanced inventory to prevent missed sales opportunities.
  • Communicate Effectively: Participate in internal S&OP meetings, and maintain proactive communication with leadership on risks, opportunities, and performance against KPIs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in forecasting, planning, or sales analytics, with a strong track record of increasing responsibility. Experience working with Walmart is highly recommended.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with tools like Anaplan, Blue Yonder/JDA, SAP, Tableau, or Cognos, and familiarity with statistical forecasting techniques.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, apply critical thinking, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Communication Pro: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally.
  • Proactive & Positive Attitude: A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a can-do attitude and a commitment to delivering results.
  • Will to Learn: Demonstrated curiosity and a growth mindset, constantly seeking to learn and improve.
