Position Overview:We are in search of a dynamic, insightful, and passionate leader to guide our rapidly expanding and ever-evolving national Influencer Marketing team. Reporting to the Head of Influencer Canada and North American Influencer Operations, the ideal candidate should be well-versed in the latest trends, opportunities, regulations, and best practices within the influencer marketing domain.
This role requires providing both direct and indirect leadership to a diverse team across Canada, necessitating empathetic, inspirational, and highly focused leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to devise strategic, innovative, and creative influencer marketing solutions.
- Build and nurture a high-performing and diverse team of influencer marketing specialists.
- Ensure that Edelman Canada's processes for influencer identification, vetting, negotiation, contracting, management, and reporting are comprehensive and efficient.
- Expand our influencer marketing business through exceptional work and robust relationships.
- Stay informed about the latest trends in influencer marketing, including disclosure requirements and performance best practices.
- Coordinate program integration with relevant specialties, including Insights and Analytics, Paid Performance, and Creative.
- Oversee multiple influencer projects at a senior level to ensure timely delivery and budget adherence.
- Lead the creation of content and brand overview documents for influencers.
- Act as an advocate for the value of thoughtful and innovative influencer marketing.
- Exhibit a thoughtful and inspiring approach when engaging with clients and internal stakeholders.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in Digital, Content, or Brand Marketing.
- 5-6 years of experience in social media and community management.
- 4-5 years of experience in influencer-specific marketing, including influencer identification, program management, outreach strategies, content planning, contracting/negotiations, paid promotion, and reporting preferred.
- Proven experience in managing a high-performing team is essential.
- Experience in developing and leading integrated campaign strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple medium to large-sized projects simultaneously.
- Clear understanding of the influencer marketing landscape and best practices.
- Strong research, writing, and editing capabilities.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of internal contacts.
