Job Summary

The Fusion Technician is a key member of our team, responsible for the fabrication and field installation of customer HDPE purchases. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fabricate custom HDPE orders to required specifications
  • Installation of pipe, fittings, and fabrications on-site
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety
  • Receive, count, and verify incoming shipments
  • Pick materials for orders, assemble, and package the materials for shipment
  • Load/unload trucks and operate fusion equipment and forklift safely
  • Maintain/repair HDPE pipe fusion equipment
  • Perform other tasks as requested by the Profit Centre Manager

Requirements

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent; College and/or University degree an asset
  • Possess a strong work ethic and a high standard of integrity
  • Ability to develop comprehensive product and product application knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Mechanical inclination
  • Excellent organizational skills with an attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, vendors, and teammates
  • Energetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Possess a valid driver's license

Preferred Skills

  • Previous experience with or knowledge of operation of McElroy fusion machines
