What You'll Do:
- Collaborate closely with technical directors, programmers, and fellow designers to implement the intricate technical elements of game features.
- Become a recognized authority on specific game technologies, overseeing tools, documentation, and best practices. Provide technical guidance and support to your team members.
- Contribute to data optimization and validation processes, ensuring that technical standards are met while considering budgetary constraints.
- Engage in advanced debugging of game data throughout the development cycle, identifying and resolving complex issues.
- Offer valuable feedback to design directors on tools, methodologies, and potential improvements to the design process.
- Actively participate in testing new features and tools before their integration into the game.
- Contribute to production tasks within the game and level design team, prototyping gameplay mechanics and innovative solutions.
- Design and implement sophisticated, technically challenging, or game-wide design elements that elevate the overall player experience.
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in game or level design with a strong technical focus.
- Exceptional ability to understand and communicate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in written form.
- A flexible mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A user-centric approach, always striving to create intuitive and enjoyable gameplay experiences.
- An insatiable curiosity and passion for understanding how games are built.
- Familiarity with various game engines and platforms is a plus.
- Experience with 2D/3D design software programs is beneficial.
- Programming or scripting experience is highly valued.
