The Solution Architect role is a critical position that requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing comprehensive technology solutions that drive business growth and success.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and integrate scalable, efficient technology solutions that meet the needs of our global organization;
  • Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments to ensure the success of proposed systems;
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all designed solutions;
  • Identify and propose strategies to manage and reduce technical debt;
  • Provide subject matter expert support on public cloud, low-code platforms, data lakes, and ERP systems;
  • Mentor and train team members on new technologies and best practices;
  • Engage with business leaders to understand and anticipate their needs;
  • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation;
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews of solutions for optimization;
  • Ensure data integrity and privacy in all solutions;
  • Research and propose new technologies or processes for operational improvement;
  • Implement projects or training throughout our global sites;
  • Facilitate communication between IT and other departments;
  • Collaborate with teams from our Windsor, Ontario site.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field;
  • Extensive experience with Azure, Appian, Snowflake, Dataiku, and Workday (8+ years);
  • TOGAF Certification an asset;
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing complex IT solutions (5+ years);
  • Leadership experience in managing technology projects (5+ years);
  • English speaking is required; French and Spanish are assets;
  • Relevant certifications in the aforementioned platforms are considered an asset.
